Donald Trump Told Marjorie Taylor Greene He Didn't Want The Epstein Files Released Because He Said They Would 'Hurt My Friends'
Marjorie Taylor Greene is revealing more about her fallout with Donald Trump over the Jeffrey Epstein files.
As we’ve been following, the United States Representative, who announced she will be resigning from office come January 5 because she refuses to be a “battered wife” to Trump, is at odds with the President. She wanted the Epstein files to be released, and he did NOT. In an interview with 60 Minutes earlier this month, she claimed “he was extremely angry at me that I had signed the discharge petition to release the files,” but she stood firm in her belief that “those women deserve everything they’re asking. They’re asking for all of it to come out. They deserve it.” And because of her position on the matter, Trump was “furious” with her.
At the time, Marjorie claimed Trump said the files’ release “was going to hurt people,” and now, she’s doubling down.

In an interview with The New York Times published on Monday, Marjorie had MUCH more to say about the Epstein files:
“The Epstein files represent everything wrong with Washington. Rich, powerful elites doing horrible things and getting away with it. And the women are the victims.”
Last month, Marjorie helped the House pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was unanimously approved by the Senate. Trump signed the bill into law the following day, giving the federal government 30 days to release all files related to the Epstein sex trafficking investigation, sans for any classified information, or anything that could identify victims or interfere with active investigations. Since then, the Department of Justice has been selectively releasing files on a daily basis.
During her interview with the NYT, Marjorie talked more about the rage Trump inflicted on her after she publicly began advocating for Epstein and his associates’ victims earlier this year. She claimed their last official conversation was an angry phone call he placed to her Capitol Hill office… where a staffer claimed the entire office could hear the convicted felon YELLING at Marjorie.
When she expressed confusion about his rage, he allegedly claimed:
“My friends will get hurt.”
People has since reached out to The White House for comment on Marjorie’s claims, but they attempted to pass it off as “petty bitterness.” Spokesperson Davis Ingle said:
“President Trump remains the undisputed leader of the greatest and fastest growing political movement in American history — the MAGA movement. On the other hand, Congresswoman Greene is quitting on her constituents in the middle of her term and abandoning the consequential fight we’re in — we don’t have time for her petty bitterness.”
That’s not a denial!
