In case you didn’t see, a clip of the Jonas Brothers vocalist is making its rounds on social media. It shows him standing outside of one of the Golden Globes tents on Sunday afternoon, sipping a drink and looking a bit overwhelmed. It was originally posted by a fan with the caption:

“social anxiety got the best of him”

He took the opportunity on Monday to respond to the concerned fan, writing on X (Twitter):

Now, some fans were super concerned by this. They’re worried that Nick was actually experiencing some rough anxiety like he’s opened up about in the past. But this time around, it looks like this was just a joke about his new song, Gut Punch.

Not to mention, rumors are swirling that it was SUPER hot in the Golden Globes tent — like 89 degrees! So, if this was true, we can see why he’d need to take a breather.
