Was Key MomTok Star Cut From Mormon Wives?? Look At Fan Evidence Ahead Of New Season!

The new season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is coming out very soon, but is there a member of MomTok who left the chat for good? Hint, it’s not Whitney Leavitt again!

Hulu dropped the first trailer for Season 4 of the hit reality show on Wednesday, and there was one key cast member who appeared to be missing from the whole thing!

The teaser featured Whitney, Taylor Frankie Paul (who may be a “pregnant Bachelorette”?!), Jennifer Affleck, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Layla Taylor, Miranda McWhorter, and Jessi Ngatikaura.

But notably, no Demi Engemann! See for yourself (below):

Fans quickly noticed Demi’s absence from the trailer, taking to Reddit with their reactions and theories. A fan posted a screenshot from the trailer and asked on a page dedicated to the show:

“Was Demi cut out of the reunion? I see all the girls, then look on the far left and see a suspiciously blurry face. Is that Demi or Jessi?”

Perezcious readers know that rumors that Demi quit SLOMW started in early December. DeuxMoi posted a tip they received that she was “exiting after this season,” and she re-shared (and later deleted) the post to her followers!

Her exit wouldn’t be too much of a surprise. She is currently on the outs with most of the cast, except for Whitney. Jessi even refuses to film with Demi, and we bet the feeling is mutual after PebbleGate! She is also in the middle of a defamation lawsuit with Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette after she accused him of sexual assault, which he vehemently denied.

Despite all that, by the end of December, she told People she had no idea if she would return to the show. She said:

“It’s a big decision and I don’t take it lightly. I have had wonderful experiences doing the show. I’ve had moments that I didn’t appreciate and where it felt like it maybe wasn’t a good fit for me, but it’s definitely something that I’m considering. I’m weighing out all the options and I probably just need to take a little bit more time to really think about what’s best for me moving forward.”

Demi noted she already received an offer for the next season, but she hadn’t made up her mind yet. With her not in the trailer? It appears she really quit! Or did she?

See, fans in the Reddit thread are speculating that Hulu purposefully left her out of the teaser to drum up talk online, but she is still on the show for now. She may not be a main cast member, though.

Someone shared a picture of the Wikipedia page indicating who is a “main” cast member, and she is no longer listed as one for Season 4. However, people think she could be in a “friend of” role this season. Take a look at the reactions (below):

“I think Demi is next to Jen and she is intentionally left out of the promo to get everyone talking on if they think she’ll be in season 4 or not. Realistically no way they have Taylor that far from center and it kinda looks like Jen’s arm is extended out.”

“My guess is that Demi was up in the air if she wanted to film season 4, but then comes back as ‘friend of.’ If she decides to continue for season 5, she may return to main cast. At the DWTS live shows, Demi was present at every MomTok appearance.”

Hmm. Something tells us Demi may make an appearance or two on Season 4! And you know what? She and Peepaw Bret have some explaining to do, so it’s a good thing she’s possibly coming back! We want all of them to hash out Fruity Pebbles at their next reunion!
