Snooki Breaks Down In Tears Revealing Doctors Found Cancerous Cells In Her Cervix & She May Have To Undergo A Hysterectomy: 'I'm Terrified'

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is opening up about her health scare…

In an emotional video on TikTok this week, the Jersey Shore star revealed her doctor found cancerous cells in her cervix! OMG! Snooki explained that she has been dealing with abnormal pap smear results and precancerous cells for about four years now. Because of that, she had to undergo an “uncomfortable” colposcopy and biopsy – and she didn’t get great results back. The MTV personality recalled:

“Doctor calls me and he’s like, ‘Not looking great.’ He found cancerous cells on the top of my cervix.”

Now Snooki needs to undergo further testing. She has a cone biopsy, which will be done in a hospital under anesthesia this time, and the whole thing is, understandably, very nerve-wracking for her. She expressed:

“I’m terrified. It’s scary, but we have to get it done because cervical cancer is nothing to joke about.”

Breaking down in tears, Snooki said what terrifies her the most is undergoing a hysterectomy. And if her biopsy results come back abnormal, it is a very real possibility that she may have one. However, the 38-year-old reality star is determined to keep herself “healthy” for her three children, whom she shares with husband Jionni LaValle. She continued:

“Obviously I’m done having kids but, as a woman, the thought of getting a hysterectomy is just sad and scary. Getting the hysterectomy and then not being able to have kids, I think that’s what’s killing me. But whatever to keep me healthy and safe to be here for my kids that I have now.”

It is so upsetting and terrifying. But it’s definitely better to remove any issues before it gets worse, so the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star can be there for her family for a long time.

Snooki shared that she made the video because she is “scared and freaking out” and hopes to find other women who have been through a similar experience. She also wanted to remind everyone not to let fear keep you from going to your routine exams like her:

“The reason why my doctor’s on my ass all the time is because I waited. I waited on my damn appointments because I knew I might not get great results but also because I didn’t want to feel the pain. I didn’t want to deal with the stress of having to deal with all of this. Just making this video to spread awareness to make sure you get your pap smears. And if your doctor calls you to do it again, do it. Make sure you’re fine and prevent all the bad things that could happen, like cervical cancer.”

A very important reminder for everyone! Snooki said she is nervous about the upcoming biopsy, but she has a good support system around her to help her through it. She concluded:

“Being a woman is not easy and this is definitely a scary thing. I know I’m going to be fine. It’s just scary.”
