David & Victoria Beckham Reflect On 'Great Memories' With Son Brooklyn -- Days After His Shocking Comments About Family Feud!

David and Victoria Beckham are looking back on the good times with son Brooklyn amid their messy family feud!

British photographer Platon took to Instagram on Thursday to share two throwback pictures of the 50-year-old former professional footballer. Taken in 2006, the first snapshot featured David standing with his back facing the camera to show off his tattoos of his kids’ names: Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz. Another is a close-up of his face.

In the caption, Platon recalled the day he took those shots with David, which became a family affair. And his words appear to be a clear response to Brooklyn’s scathing allegations about her parents! Perezcious readers know that days ago, the 26-year-old hot sauce entrepreneur shocked everyone when he accused Victoria and David of spreading “countless lies”  in their attempts to “ruin” his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and more. He even declared he does “not want to reconcile with my family” ever, much to the horror of David and Victoria.

Now it seems Platon wanted to let everyone know that despite Brooklyn’s accusations, the power couple have always loved their kids very much. He began to say in the caption:

“In 2006, I travelled to Madrid to photograph David Beckham. He was playing for REAL MADRID and by now was one of the world’s biggest superstars. That day his family came to visit. Victoria arrived with Brooklyn, who was seven years old, Romeo, who was four and Cruz, who was just a baby. Brooklyn and Romeo charged into the studio wearing football kits, kicking balls, doing headers and other tricks. While Victoria was busy with the children, I started work with David.”

Platon went on to recall a tender moment between the family, saying:

“At one point, Brooklyn ran on set with his football under his arm and hugged his dad’s right leg. Then, Romeo joined his older brother. Then, Victoria also appeared with baby Cruz in her arms. The whole family turned away from us for a private heartfelt group hug. It was a poignant thing to see—this spontaneous moment of affection happening on a giant photography set in front of 60 people.”

How sweet! But the photographer then got real for a second, adding:

“Celebrity comes with a heavy price and often it is family members who also pay.”

Oof! Sadly, there probably won’t be any more cute moments like this one between David, Victoria, Brooklyn, and the rest of the family! Platon continued:

“To see this tenderness was very moving and I knew it would make a beautiful picture, especially as this famous family were not facing my camera. But my portraits are always collaborative and I never feel comfortable stealing a moment. If I had taken a single frame, it would have betrayed trust and invaded privacy. So, I put down my camera and took a picture only with my eyes.”

According to Platon, he asked Victoria if they could recreate the moment so he could snap it. However, she turned it down because she was only there “as a mother” and nothing more that day:

“After the session, I approached Victoria and asked if we could recreate the family embrace I had seen from my perspective. She gently smiled and said, ‘Thank you for not taking that picture earlier. Today, I’m not here as a celebrity, I’m here as a mother. I hope you don’t mind if I respectfully pass.’ I found Victoria’s human response dignified and sincere.”

David did allow Platon to take a picture of the tattoo of his kids’ names, though. And in that pic, he thought you could clearly see the “love” the dad had for his children:

“Then, sensing my slight disappointment Victoria said, ‘But David will do a back shot.’ So, I photographed David on his own facing away–a man stripped bare, no belt, no designer shirt, no fancy watch. I’m normally drawn to eyes, but when we can’t see the face we search for other clues that may reveal someone’s humanity. In this picture, although David stands alone, we see the love of his children tattooed onto his back. Family is everything. David Beckham, I salute you.”

Wow. It’s such a shame that the family is no longer as close as they used to be…

Despite Brooklyn’s scathing posts this week, both David and Victoria looked back on that day with their son fondly. The athlete wrote on Friday:
