The Hadid Family 'Dislike' Nicola Peltz So Much! They Thought Anwar's Ex Was 'Controlling' & 'Took Advantage' Of Him: REPORT

The Hadids are forever grateful that Nicola Peltz is out of their lives!

Perezcious readers know that Anwar Hadid began dating the actress in 2016, years before she married Brooklyn Beckham. He was only 17 years old when the relationship started, while she was 22. Ch-ch-check out a pic of them together (below):

While everything started great with the Hadid family, as time went on? They reportedly wanted nothing more than for Anwar to get out of the relationship!

According to Dailymail.com on Friday, his sisters, Gigi and Bella Hadid, grew to “dislike” Nicola. Even Yolanda reached a point where she wanted to stage an “intervention” with Anwar to make him “see sense.” Yeesh! But why did they hate her so much? A source close to the Hadids said, for starters, they didn’t like the age difference between him and Nicola. Her personality also didn’t help matters. The insider explained:

“Anwar’s mother and sisters were worried he was becoming increasingly unhappy in his relationship and they were keen for him to get out of it quickly. The age difference bothered them, and so did Nicola’s strong personality. It had started so well but they later began to no longer think the relationship was the best idea for Anwar. That led to some conversations between Anwar and the family. They feared he was struggling, going out with a woman who was older than him at such a formative time in his life.”

That is why when Anwar and Nicola broke up in 2018, Yolanda was so thrilled:

“Strong words were had; Yolanda was so relieved when it all finished. Poor Anwar was somewhat discombobulated by the whole relationship.”

It was also such a relief because they finally got Anwar back! Just like Brooklyn, the model allegedly became estranged from them during the romance! The source spilled:

“It isn’t just Victoria here, the same happened with Yolanda.”

Uh oh! It sounds like there’s a bit of a pattern here with Nicola…

Another source close to the Hadids explained to Dailymail.com that they thought Nicola “was controlling and took advantage of Anwar.” The Lola star allegedly always wanted to be his main priority — and if she wasn’t, she freaked out! The insider continued:

“She monopolized his time and wanted to be the first priority. If she wasn’t, she would flip.”

Because of that, the source shared that Anwar “stopped talking” to his family for some time:

“She didn’t forbid him to talk to them, but she needed time, all his time. So, when was he going to talk to his family? There’s only so many hours in a day. He was a teenager. It was all about her. She left an impression.”

Her behavior apparently upset the family so much that they “still talk about her and how he’s better off without her” to this day! Oh, they really don’t like her! Damn! No wonder Anwar’s sister Alana Hadid threw massive shade at Nicola amid the Beckham family feud — if the report is true!
