90s TV Star Zachery Ty Bryan Sentenced After Horrifying Pick-Up Truck Nightmare

Home Improvement‘s Zachery Ty Bryan has been sentenced after his DUI and probation violation.

As you know, the ’90s TV star was arrested in 2024 for a DUI and ended up getting sentenced to 16 months in jail. Now, in Oregon, he’s racked up another sentence. While serving time for his initial sentence, the former child star appeared virtually in court on Friday!

In court, Zachery was sentenced to another 19 months after pleading guilty to a probation violation. This also stems from a reckless endangerment call cops responded to, finding him and his fiancée Johnnie Faye Cartwright — along with their three children — in a truck. How did he violate probation? Well, he wasn’t supposed to be in contact with Johnnie after a separate domestic violence incident. Just awful.

Zachery will now be serving a total of 35 months. That’s almost three years!

Reacting to the news, his attorney said:

“The sentence was excessive. It was ridiculous. Zachary has experienced a lot of trauma. He has an alcohol problem. Putting him in jail or prison is not going to help the situation. Poor use of resources. I’m very disappointed in the judge. Zachary attended the hearing remotely. He apologized to the court, he said he wants to be the best father he can be, acknowledged he needs help with his alcohol problem and the judge slapped him with this sentence.”
