The Qingjian Zhaigou site in Shaanxi Province is located in the heart of the Loess Plateau. For the first time, Sun Zhanwei's team from the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology completely revealed the largest and most complex Lijiaya cultural center settlement in the Loess Hills area, proving that there was a highly developed bronze civilization with complex social structure and exquisite technology in the local area at that time.
On December 16, the 6th "World Archaeological Forum Shanghai" was held in Shanghai, announcing and displaying 22 selected major field archaeological discoveries and important archaeological research results in the world. The research on the social civilization process of Hongshan from China and the Qingjian Zhaigou site in Shaanxi Province were selected as major field archaeological discoveries and exhibition projects of the 6th World Archaeological Forum. In addition, Zhang Xu, head of the Joint Laboratory of Science and Technology Archaeology for the Study of the Chinese National Community, presided over "From Aggregation to Integration: Population Interaction in the Central and Southern Regions of Inner Mongolia during the Eastern Zhou Dynasty" and "Molecular Archaeology Research: Mapping the Migration, Evolution and Adaptation of Populations in East Asia over 100,000 Years" hosted by Fu Qiaomei, a researcher at the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, were selected as important archaeological research results display projects of the 6th World Archaeological Forum.
